All proceeds will go towards the Fix Crumlin Appeal to fund the remaining €4m needed to finish the cancer ward refurbishment and build of the new cardiac unit in Crumlin Hospital.
I have written this song “Once A Year” to raise much needed funds for Crumlin Children’s Hospital. Crumlin Children’s Hospital is the national referral centre for cardiac and cancer patients. This year work has started to fix Crumlin by refurbishing the cancer ward and building a new cardiac unit. This will cost a total of €8m and so far the people of Ireland have managed to raise €4m. This song will help.
I have a personal connection with Crumlin Hospital. My son was a long time patient there as a child. I have always wanted to do something for the hospital and feel now is my opportunity to help them finish the great work they’ve started.
The students in St Raphael’s primary school, Ballyfermot are very excited to be doing what they can to help other children their age. This song is a very catchy tune with a real Christmas feel to it and is sure to put anyone who listens to it in a real festive mood.
